WellLink allows the Pumper to start up wells quickly and get production faster than would be possible with other pump controllers. The pumpers can actually see what is happening to their well and take corrective action as opposed to guessing.
Communications can be established by direct connection or by radio. The ability to communicate over radio saves a significant amount of time since they can service multiple wells from one location. In the case where a well becomes temporarily inaccessible due to mud or snow, radio communications become invaluable.
Unique to our system, is the ability for multiple Pumpers and the master station to communicate to the wells at the same time. Normally there can only be one master and multiple slaves in a radio network. We have successfully overcome this limitation to allow multiple masters in the same network. The only other system that could accomplish this feat would be a wireless Ethernet network. However, a wireless Ethernet network would cost significantly more, have a limited range and reduced throughput due to overhead. |

API Writer
The API Writer is an additional program which is included
with WellLink. The API writer is used to set the ID number
of the panel, typically the API number.
The API writer is also used to set Gas Analysis.
The Gas Analysis is stored in the panel. The API Writer is
kept seperate from WellLink for security reasons. The customer
can limit who can change API numbers and Gas Analysis by limiting
accesss to the program.
